About the Event

• Description: Take a magical journey through a life-sized Candy Land! Walk, hike, or run as you relive one of your favorite childhood games as a real-life adventure.
• Treat Stations: Enjoy some of Tri-Cities' local trails, visit the candy-themed stations for a variety of treats, and meet special Candy Land characters.
• Fundraiser: This event is a fundraiser for Mirror Ministries. All proceeds and entry fees will go directly to support Mirror Ministries.
• Mission: An organization of people who embrace a vision of hope for victims and survivors of sex trafficking, showing survivors their true worth through prayer, service, and giving.

Walk - Run - Hike - Ruck Details

• Start/End Location: The adventure begins and ends in the parking lot of Candy Mountain.
• Routes: Three different routes will be offered, depending on your ability and how long you want to stay in Candy Land.
• Fun Map: A fun map for each route will be provided, marking the stations.
• Finisher Medals: Each finisher will receive a wooden finisher medal, with awards for the Top Overall male and female in both distances.

Awards and Timing

• Awards: Top Overall male and female (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) in the 3.5 mile and 10k distances.
• Age Group Awards: Male & female awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in the 10k & 3.5 mile categories for various age groups.
• Timing: 10k & 3.5 mile will be chip-timed by Eastern Oregon Sports Timing. The 1.25 mile route is just for fun.
• Special RUCK Patch: RUCK finishers will receive a special ruck patch.

Pricing

• Gumdrop Loop 1.25 mile: $20 from 6/2 to 10/29 - $25 In-person
• Chocolate Route 3.5 mile: $35 from 6/2 to 10/29 - $40 In-person
• Licorice Trail 10k: $45 from 6/2 to 10/29 - $50 In-person
• Licorice Trail 10k RUCK: $45 from 6/2 to 10/29 - $50 In-person

Parking Information

• Parking Location: NEW FOR 2025 - Parking will be at Bethel Church - 600 Shockley Rd, Richland, WA 99352.
• Shuttle Service: A shuttle bus will run every 15 minutes starting at 8:00 a.m. Plan for extra time for parking and loading.
• Race Bib: Make sure race bib is visible for volunteers as you load buses.
• No Parking: There is NO PARKING on the roadway close to the Candy Mountain parking lot or in residential areas.

Online Registration & Bib Pick-up

• Registration Close Date: Online registration will close on Tuesday, October 28th at 8 p.m.
• Bib Pick-up: Thursday, October 30th from 2-6 p.m. at Runners Soul 5020 W Clearwater Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336.
• In-person Registration: Saturday, November 1st from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Candy Mountain parking lot if there are registration spots available.
• Age Limit: Children 2 years old and younger are free.
