Come join us at Chiawana Park in Pasco, Washington for the 4th Annual Big River Race.

Date and Locations

• Date: Saturday, May 29th, 2027
• Location: Chiawana Park, 2020 Rd 88, Pasco, WA
• Events: Half Marathon, 10k, 5k & FREE Fun 1 Mile
• Scenic Route: Run along the Columbia River on a paved riverfront trail.

Course Details

• Terrain: The course will be flat & fast!
• Starting Point: The race will start & end at the west end of the park.
• Path: All race distances are on a paved path along the riverfront.
• Meaning: Chiawana is a Native word for “Big River”.

• Cultural Role: The Columbia River has provided this region's culture and economy for thousands of years.
• Geography: It forms in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada and flows through Washington.
• Agriculture: This Big River irrigates more than 6,000,000 acres of agricultural land.
• Community Importance: Agriculture is a huge part of our community, made possible by this valuable water source.
