Purpose of the Race

• Community Support: Support Royal Family Kids (RFK), a ministry organizing a summer camp for foster children.
• Life-Changing Experiences: Helps children of abuse and neglect flourish and trust adults again.
• Fun and Learning: Children enjoy a week of fun, learn about Jesus, and build meaningful connections.
• Breaking Cycles: Aims to interrupt paths of academic failure, drug abuse, and homelessness.

• Be a Superhero: Your registration fee supports the RFK camp for children.
• Direct Contribution: Entire fee goes directly to help foster children attend camp.
• Celebration Event: Every child is celebrated at camp with a party, games, and presents.

Event Festivities

• Themed Dress: Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero.
• Family Fun: Enjoy food trucks, face painting, balloon making, and music at the event.
• Awards: Top 3 finishers of all events in each gender will receive recognition.
• Medals: 10K participants will be awarded a medal at the finish line.

Race Details

• Starting Point: All races start at the Columbia Park bandshell near the Playground of Dreams.
• Course Description: Races will run west along the river towards Richland.
• Format: All races will be an out and back.
• Aid Stations: Water and Gatorade available at aid stations at 1 mile, 5K, and 10K turn around points.
