RICHLAND RUNFEST 2026
Presented by 3 Rivers Road Runners (3RRR)
DISTANCES
- Available Races: Half Marathon, 10K and 5K (both in person and virtual options)
- Medals: There will be a medal for each race (and they will fit together to make one big medal if you do all 3!)
- Registration: You can register for one in person option and then the other distances virtually or all 3 races virtually to obtain all three medals that will fit together.
- Completion Window: You have 3 weeks to complete the virtual options PRIOR to the in person race date and 1 week AFTER the in person race date to get a discount.
DATES
- In Person Race: Saturday, February 28, 2026
- Virtual Race Window: Friday February 6, 2026 to Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
TIMES
- Half Marathon: Starts at 8:30am
- 10K and 5K: Start at 8:45am
- Course Closure: ALL race courses close at 12:30 PM.

- Location: Richland, WA
- Start/Finish: At Columbia Point Marina Park

- Training Plans: We have a running group and training plan for all distances (beginner and intermediate/advanced).
REGISTRATION
- Online Registration: Closes when races fill up or on February 6 for virtual races.
- Entry Fees: Include medals, shirts (for half marathon), finish line treats, and more.
- Shirt Availability: Cut off for shirts is 2/6/2026: shirts are only guaranteed for half marathon runners registered by this date.
- Discount: $25 off for signing up for all 3 races.
PACKET PICKUP
- Date/Time: Friday, February 27, 2026 from 3:30-6 pm.
- Location: The Lodge at Columbia Point, 530 Columbia Point Drive, Richland, WA 99352
- Race Day Pickup: 7:30-8:15am ONLY for out of town participants.
- Virtual Participants: Must pick up their goodies at Packet Pickup or on Race Day.
THE IN PERSON RACE SETUP
- Timing: Will be by chip with mats at start and finish.
- Finisher Medals: Unique design that fits together for all 3 races.
- Aid Stations: Three aid stations along the course.
- Course: Similar to last year and not a flat course.
RACE DAY PHOTOS
- Photographer: Chris Ruby will capture your race day in photos!
- Availability: Photos will be available after the race at no charge.

RUNNING GROUP AND TRAINING PLAN
- Training Plans: Written by Jen Comfort for all distances.
- Saturday Runs: Meet at Wake Up Call Coffee: all levels welcome.
- Details: Will be posted on our Facebook page.
- Health Responsibility: Participants should check with a doctor before participating.
AWARDS
- Eligibility: Only for the in person races: virtual has finisher medals only.
- Awards Table: Located at the race finish line.
- Top Finishers: Overall top three female and male finishers for each distance.
- Age Group Awards: For various age brackets.
FINISH LINE
- Health Guidelines: We will follow all health department and WA guidelines for a safe race.
- Refreshments: Bottled water and prepackaged foods available for finishers.
- More Info: To be provided as we get closer to race day.
- Coffee Truck: We hope to have a coffee truck at the finish line, similar to last year.

VOLUNTEERING
- Volunteers Needed: Consider having friends or family volunteer for the race.

- Grace Collective: A local nonprofit supporting women survivors of trafficking, addiction, and more.
- Atlas Freedom: Focused on empowerment and prevention of sexual exploitation.
- $5 Donations: $2.50 to each charity for every race entry.
- Additional Donations: Additional donations can be made during registration.
