Team Maggie's Dream 12th Annual 5k10k Live and Virtual

Event Overview

Join us for our 12th Annual Walk/Run at the River in Roswell to SAVE THE EGGS for Young Cancer Patients.

Purpose

• Mission: We run for young adults fighting cancer — young adults who dream of becoming moms and dads one day.
• Fertility Preservation: Cancer treatment can threaten fertility, and preserving it can cost more than $10,000.
• Grants: Team Maggie’s Dream provides grants so no young adult has to face cancer without the chance to protect their future family.
• Support: Your participation supports Team Maggie's Dream, which provides financial assistance to young adults preserving their fertility after a cancer diagnosis.

Course Details

• Certification: This is a certified USATF Course, an opportunity to qualify for an earlier wave in the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
• Course Type: Fastest and flattest certified Peachtree Road Race qualifying course.
• Personal Best: A great place to earn your personal best and RING the Team Maggie’s Dream Bell!
• Scenic Route: Enjoy a beautiful course along the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, GA.

Registration Information

• T-shirt: AWESOME FREE T-SHIRT - Must be registered by August 26 to be guaranteed a T-shirt.
• Kids Registration: Kids 7 and under can participate for free without registration, or register for a bib for $5.
• Team Registration: Register a team for a discount and receive reimbursements for referrals.
• Early Pick Up: Early package pick-up on Friday, Sept 11, 2026, from 1-5 PM at Big Peach Running Company.

Race Day Schedule

• Registration: 6:00 AM
• Packet Pick-Up: 6:15 AM
• Warm-Up: 7:10 AM
• Start Time: 7:30 AM after the National Anthem.

Awards

Awards for those present at the event: Males and Females 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category (5 year increments), plus Overall, Master, and a 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the stroller category.

Fundraising Initiatives

• Team Fundraising: Build a team to run together, whether a work team, gym team, school team, or a running team to raise money together.
• Donation Goal: Every $2500 donated can help one more teen or young adult with cancer "Keep the Dream of Family Alive."
• Recognition: All teams raising $2500 or more will be recognized at the run.
• Start A Fundraiser: Ask friends and family to sponsor your run through your fundraising link.

Parking Information

Park at the following locations: Race Location: King’s Court Chapel corner of Willeo Rd and Marietta Hwy, across the street in the Shopping Center, Historic Roswell Square, and Park along Mimosa St.

Community Engagement

Maggie was born and raised in Roswell. This event is a blessing to host in such a beautiful and picturesque location along the Chattahoochee River. Enjoy our beautiful city while you are in town.
