Honoring Knox’s Legacy
We fondly remember Cadet Knox MacEwen, a dedicated and spirited JROTC cadet whose life was tragically cut short during a Raider competition. Promoted early to Private First Class, Knox demonstrated exceptional leadership, discipline, and character well beyond his years.
His achievements included earning a Parade Ribbon, Raider Ribbon, and two competition ribbons, reflecting his commitment to excellence and teamwork. Selected for the elite Raiders Team, Knox was admired not only for his skill and determination, but also for his infectious goofiness and ever-present smile that lifted those around him.
Knox was more than a cadet. He was a friend, a leader, and a source of inspiration.
The annual Snow Cone 5K Memorial Run honors his achievements, his spirit, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Through this event, his legacy of leadership, camaraderie, and unwavering heart continues to live on.
