Race Details

• Start/Finish Location: This event will be held one mile west of the Wichita Art Museum along Museum Blvd/West Sim Park Dr at the workout park.
• Parking: Available at 2101 W. Sim Park Dr or the new Botanica parking lot just east of the start/finish line.
• Route: The race will take you along the bike path on the north and south sides of the Arkansas River, past Cowtown, Keeper of the Plains, and Exploration Place.
• Bridge Crossing: A short jog across the "red bridge" returns you to the Start/Finish line.

Schedule

• Arrival Time: Racers can begin to show up at 7:30 am.
• Race Start: The race will kick off at 9:00 am.
• Costume Contest: Takes place from 7:45 am to 8:45 am.

Costume Contest

• Dressing Up: Come dressed in your spookiest attire for our Halloween contest.
• Eligibility: Contest is open to individuals or couples only.
• Prize: The winning individual or couple will receive a $100 gift card.
• Judging: Participants must arrive at the judging area by 8:45 a.m. The winner will be announced after the race.

Racer Benefits

• T-Shirt: All racers will receive an OctoberFit 5K race t-shirt.
• Medal: Participation medals will be awarded to all racers.
• Goodie Bag: Participants will receive a bag filled with goodies.

Packet Pickup

• Dates: Packets will be picked up from Monday, October 20th, to Wednesday, October 22nd.
• Location: At our Planet Fitness Normandie location, 6592 E. Central Ave, Wichita, KS, 67206.
• Race Day: Packets will also be available for pickup the morning of the race.
