Camas Lions Oktoberfest 5K 10K Run/Walk

About the Event

• Event Name: The inaugural Camas Lions Oktoberfest brings together runners, families, and local businesses for a 5K and 10K run/walk along the scenic Columbia River trails.
• After Party: A festive “Cheers for a Cause” Oktoberfest Biergarten with live music will follow the events.
• Participants: Runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to participate.
• Kids: Families and company teams are welcome. Kids under 12 participate for free.

Come in your favorite Oktoberfest outfit! Prizes will be given away.

Awards & Gifts

• Finisher Medals: Every finisher will receive a medal featuring the race logo.
• Commemorative Gift: Registration fees include a commemorative gift mug if registered by 5:00 PM on July 31, 2026. Only 100 mugs will be given away.
• Additional Medals: Overall and Top 3 for age groups will receive additional medals. 1st place runners will receive additional prizes.
• Outfit Award: "Best Oktoberfest outfit" award will be given after the race.

Entertainment

• Live Music: Stay after the run/walk for live music.
• Participant Beverages: Participants age 21 and over will receive one free beer upon completion of the run/walk in the Biergarten.
• Root Beer for Youth: Participants under 21 will receive one free root beer.

Event Time & Route

• Start Times: 10K Start: 10:00 AM: 5K Start: 10:15 AM
• Timing: The bibs will be chipped and official times will be sent to runners after the run.
• Route Details: The route is primarily flat: slower runners and walkers are asked to stay to the right.
• Course Path: Both races start at 54 40 Brewery, travel on the street for less than ¼ mile, and then continue along the Captain William Clark Park Trail.

Registration

Register online via RunSignUp and complete the required waiver. Race-day registration is available: electronic payment only (no cash or checks accepted).

Parking

Parking is limited to street parking, with potential access to nearby parking lots next to 54 40 Brewery. Participants are encouraged to arrive 30–45 minutes prior to their race start time for bib pickup and warm-up.

Packet Pick-Up

Race-day packet pick-up will be available from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at 54 40 Brewery, 3801 S Truman St #1, Washougal, WA 98671.

T-Shirts

Event T-shirts will be available for purchase for $20 (optional).

Water Stations

Water will be available at turnaround points, as well as at the start/finish area.

Food & Drinks

The Camas Lions have partnered with 54 40 Brewery / Kascadia Public House to offer food and beverages for purchase at the start/finish area.

Restrooms

Port-a-potties and 54 40 Brewery restrooms will be available at the start/finish area. Public park restrooms are also located along the route.
