Miracle For Jackson 5k

Lace up for the Miracle for Jackson 5K (3.1 miles) on March 21, 2026, at Lady Bird Johnson Park — where every step brings Jackson closer to his miracle. Can’t join us in person? A virtual 5K option is available, with registration open through March 23, 2026. Virtual participants may complete their 5K (run or walk) anytime by April 6, 2026, and are encouraged to share a photo or message on Facebook and tag @MiracleforJackson5kwalk/run.

 

Jackson is an eleven-year-old boy who has faced extraordinary medical challenges since birth. After years of searching for answers, doctors determined in 2023 that he needed a life-saving intestinal transplant. Following multiple complications and life-support interventions, Jackson was officially listed and received his transplant on August 18, 2025. While this milestone was a miracle, his journey to healing continues.

This event proudly supports the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) in honor of Jackson. Funds raised help cover transplant-related expenses, travel, and the ongoing resources he needs to keep fighting.

 

Enjoy a fun-filled, family-friendly morning featuring an incredible DJ, face painting, vendors, sponsors, snacks, and hydration along the course. Packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM, with vendors and sponsors ready by 7:30 AM. A special kids’ race for ages 4–16 is available for just $15.
