Vergennes Day Race 2026

The Little City is hosting its 45th Annual Vergennes Day Race

Event Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026

Join us for:

• Kids 1K Fun Run: A fun run for kids of all ages.
• 5K Walk: A leisurely walk for participants of all levels.
• 5K, 10K or 15K Run: Choose your preferred distance and challenge yourself.

Medals

• Finisher Medals: Each finisher will receive a medal.
• Age Group Medals: 1st-3rd place in each age group for the 5K/10K/15K will also receive a medal.
• Age Groups: <14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 &: over.

Registration

• Student Registration: Students age 5-17 racing in the 5K register for $20 instead of $35.
• In-Person Registration: Day of in person registration can be done electronically with a QR code, and payments can be made with our apple square payment system.
• Paper Registration Fee: Day of in person paper registration will incur a $5 increase.

Race Start Times

• Kids Fun Run: Begins at 8:15am.
• 15K: Begins at 8:30 a.m.
• 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K: Begin at 9:00 a.m.
