Join us for a scenic 5k run or walk at the beautiful Detroit Riverwalk! Our 5th annual Set the PACE 5K supports PACE Southeast Michigan's mission to help older adults live safely and independently in their homes and communities. Your participation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in Southeast Michigan. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while supporting a great cause!

What does my 5K packet include?

• T-shirt: All participants who registered by Friday, Oct 9, 2026, will receive a t-shirt and a race bib.
• Medal: Participants will also receive a medal at the finish line. Virtual participants will receive a medal in their race packet.
• Registration: T-shirts cannot be guaranteed if registered after Oct 9, 2026.

Race Details

• Course: This is a timed, out-and-back 5K course on the riverwalk that runs through Milliken State Park.
• Water Station: One water station will be provided on the course at the turnaround at approximately the 1-mile mark.
• Pets: Although we love our furry friends at PACE Southeast Michigan, we ask that you please leave your personal pets/dogs at home for the safety and comfort of our runners and volunteers.
• Refund Policy: This event is non-refundable and will occur rain or shine.

Awards

Awards will be provided to the first three male and female finishers, and to runners in each of the following age groups:

• Age Group 15 and under:
• Age Group 16 - 30:
• Age Group 31 - 45:
• Age Group 46 - 60:
• Age Group 61 and up:
