- Event: Join us at the Smoke on the Plains BBQ Festival for our Smokin' 5K race!
- Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 7:30am.
- Location: 2801 James Street, Derby, KS, starting and finishing in High Park.
- Course: USATF certified course running through the city streets of Derby, KS.
Awards and Medals
- Overall Awards: There will be awards for the overall female and overall male.
- Age Group Awards: 1st place age group awards sponsored by Supplement Giant.
- Finisher Medals: All participants will receive medals upon crossing the finish line.
- Race Shirt: Participants will receive a race shirt: register by May 25 to guarantee yours.
Special Features
- Raffle: The first 50 people to register will be entered to win a fire pit!
- Packet Pick-Up: On Friday, June 12, 2026, at Derby Recreation Center from 12:00pm-8:00pm.
- Race Day: The race begins at 7:30am on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
- Starting Location: North end of High Park between upper and lower parking lots: road closures at 6:45am.
