About Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation

• Foundation Year: Founded in 2007 and licensed the name of Bobby Jones in 2019.
• Mission: Raise awareness and find a cure for Chiari malformation (CM), syringomyelia (SM) and related disorders.
• Funding: Over $6 million dollars worth of education and research projects/meetings.
• Impact: Helped more than 3.5 million people in the United States and worldwide.

Our Mission Statement: To advance knowledge through research and to educate the medical, allied sciences and lay community about Chiari malformation, syringomyelia and related disorders.

Race Amenities

• T-Shirts and Medals: Race t-shirts and finisher medals for 5K participants, with potential to earn more prizes with fundraising! NOTE: The 1-Mile race does NOT come with a 5k t-shirt or medal. If you would like a medal and 5K T-shirt, please register for the 5K distance.
• Timing: Professional race timing for all 5K participants.
• Awards Ceremony: For age group winners in the 5K race.
• T-Shirts for Fundraising: Bobby Jones CSF unite4answers t-shirts for participants who donate or raise at least $50.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Available for all participants.

• Time: 12:00pm to 4:00pm
• Location: American Icon Brewery (1133 19th Pl, Vero Beach, FL 32960)

Race Day Schedule

• Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026
• Location: Vero Beach Regional Airport, 2660 Airport Drive N.
• 3:15 PM: Late Registration & Packet Pickup Opens
• 4:15 PM: Late Registration & Packet Pickup Closes
• 4:30 PM: 5K Start!
• 4:35 PM: 1 Mile Start!
• Awards Ceremony: Immediately following the race.

Awards

• Top Overall: Top three (3) overall Male & Female.
• Top Masters: Top Masters (40+) Male & Female.
• Age Groups: Top three (3) Male & Female in each age group: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

Race Fees

• Adult 5K: $35 through 12/4 ($40 on Race Day).
• Child 5K: $25 through 12/4 ($30 on Race Day, age 12 & under).
• 1 Mile Untimed Walk: All Ages: Donation Based.
