Join us and celebrate Ostomy Awareness Day and the 12th Annual Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026!

All proceeds will benefit the United Ostomy Association of America (UOAA) a 501 3(c) non-profit charity that helps patients living with an ostomy or continent diversion through support, education and advocacy. For more information regarding ostomies visit UOAA's website at www.ostomy.org.

Optional Ostomy Pouch

Race registration bags will have typical race/sponsor promotional items, ostomy education materials, and most importantly an ostomy pouch provided by one or more of our sponsors. We encourage non-ostomate participants to put on a pouch for the race to improve awareness and empathy for the challenges faced by people living with ostomies.

Create or Join a Race Group/Team

Once you’ve registered you have the option to:

• Create: a new race group/team
• Join: one that’s already been established
• Invite: family, friends, and co-workers to register and compete

Fundraising

Raise $150 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded!

Fundraising is an important aspect of our Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K. Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy, and support to the ostomy and continent diversion community.

You can create a unique Fundraiser Name and URL address, personalize your fundraising message, and direct your friends and family to your page to join your team or sponsor you in your fundraising goal.

Fundraising Incentives

Empower: $250+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain. Fundraising award: TBD

Champion: $450+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain. Fundraising award: TBD

The Champion level fundraisers will also receive the Empower level fundraising award.
