• 5k RUN: 9:00 am start
• 1 MILE WALK: 8:30 am start
• Alternative Option: Not into a 5k? Nursing an injury? Pushing a stroller? The 1 mile walk is a great way to show yourself some love while also supporting this great cause!

Trail Information

The Ironton Rail Trail connects nearly a dozen parks and two dozen historical sites in east-central Lehigh County. The rail-trail comprises a 5-mile loop around Coplay and Hokendauqua on the Lehigh River north of Allentown and a 4-mile spur west toward Ironton. Beautiful trail to walk or run!

The trail follows the route of the Ironton Railroad, which obliged the future trail makers by creating a lasso-shaped corridor to connect iron mines in the ore-rich county to iron foundries along the river and the Lehigh Valley Railroad.

Awards

Awards for the 5k will be given to the top male and female overall, plus the top 3 M & F in the following age groups: 0-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 3 M/3 F 60-67, 68-74, 75+.
