2026 Hell Hole Gator Run 5K & 10K

Event Overview

The Hell Hole Gator Run is the oldest 10K race in the South Carolina Low Country. This is the 50th year for Hell Hole Gator Trot. The Gator Run is now a 10K &: 5K starting and finishing in Jamestown, SC. The Gator Run is affiliated with the world famous Hell Hole Swamp Festival.

Race Details

• Date: October 17, 2026
• Location: 7604 Hwy 41, Jamestown, SC
• 10K Start Time: 8:00 AM
• 5K Start Time: 8:00 AM

Course Information

• 10K Route: Starts on French Santee Rd, turns right onto Simmons Rd, then right onto Tiger Corner Rd, right onto Hwy 41 to finish line.
• 5K Route: Starts at the corner of Simmons Rd &: Tiger Corner Rd, makes a right onto Hwy 41 to the finish line.
• Original Course: The 10K will revert back to the original course.
• 5K Start: Will start at the 5K mark of the 10K in the woods.

Awards

• Trophies: Large actual gator-head trophies for M/F overall, masters, and grand masters divisions.
• Age Groups: Smaller gator-head trophies for age group winners both male and female, ages 10-19 through 75-99.

Packet Pick-Up

• Early Pick-Up: October 16th at Blue Sky Endurance, 624 Coleman Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC from 3 PM - 6 PM.
• Race Day Pick-Up: October 17th at Hell Hole Inc, 116 Steel Shed Lane, Jamestown, SC from 6:15 AM - 7:45 AM.
• 5K Packet Reminder: If running the 5K and doing packet pickup on October 17th, please have your packet by 7 AM.
• ID Requirement: Please bring your ID for packet pick-up.

Parking

Parking is at Hell Hole Inc, 116 Steel Shed Lane, Jamestown, SC 29453.

Transportation

The 5K runners will be shuttled out to the 5K start line beginning at 7 AM.
