Event Overview

Join us and celebrate Ostomy Awareness Day and the 12th Annual Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 at our NEW LOCATION at Solite Park on the American Tobacco Trail!

Beneficiary Information

• Proceeds: All proceeds will benefit the United Ostomy Association of America (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity.
• Mission: UOAA helps patients living with an ostomy or continent diversion through support, education, and advocacy.

Race Day Schedule

• Date: October 4, 2026
• 9:00 AM: Registration and packet pick up opens
• 9:30 AM: Silent Auction starts
• 10:10 AM: Fun Run/Walk Race Starts

Race Team Information

• Create/Join: Once you’ve registered, you have the option to CREATE a new RACE GROUP/TEAM or to JOIN one that’s already been established.
• Community: This is a great way to get others in your community to Register to Participate in the Run.
• Invite: Invite family, friends, co-workers to Register, pick their Race Group/Team, order T-Shirt & Bib.
• Note: This is NOT a Team Fundraiser. To set up a Personal or Team Fundraiser, please go to the DONATE button.

Fundraising Information

• Goal: Raise $150 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded!
• Impact: Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy, and support to the ostomy community.
• Setup: You can create a unique Fundraiser Name and URL address to personalize your fundraising message.
• Join: Direct your friends and family to your page to join your team or sponsor your fundraising goal.

Fundraising Incentives

• Empower: Fundraise $250+ individually or as a Team Captain. Award: TBD.
• Champion: Fundraise $450+ individually or as a Team Captain. Award: TBD.
• Incentives: Champion level fundraisers will also receive the Empower level fundraising award.

Your generous donation helps us to raise awareness of this life-saving surgery and continues our mission of promoting quality of life through information, support, advocacy and collaboration. Run Referral Program

Invite 5 other people to register and participate in the Run with you and you will be refunded $20 on YOUR registration! Share your unique referral link found on your registration confirmation page. This program is valid for all in-person run locations and the virtual event.

Event Registration Protection is now available for participants! For just a few dollars at checkout, you can add coverage to your registration and receive a refund if you’re unable to attend due to a qualifying reason.
