The New Year's Duathlon and 5K Trail Run

Location: Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA

Run, Bike, and Run in the New Year with TBF at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake.

Event Details

• Duathlon Course: 2 mile run - 5 mile bike – 2 mile run course for Individuals or 2-Person Relay Teams.
• 5K Course: A beautiful and fun course with nature trails and lake views.
• Awards: Overall Champion prize for the first overall male and female finisher. Top Three awards in each 10-year Age Group.
• Results: Overall results will be posted for all finishers.

Course Details

• Run: The 2 mile run course on granite paths, single track trails, and pavement with aid stations.
• Bike: The 5 mile road bike course on closed roads within Folsom Lake State Park, with sharp turns to navigate.
• 5K: A gently rolling course along the lake shoreline with friendly aid stations and clear markers.
• Post-Race: Hot soup, cookies, and fruit available to all competitors free of charge.

Charity Support

The New Year's Duathlon & 5K Run are fundraising events for Maria and Joseph's Ministry to the Poor, the Official Charity of TBF Racing.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 am: Transition area and Registration open.
• 7:30 am: Race announcements begin.
• 8:00 am: Start of the NY's 5K Run/Walk.
• 9:00 am: Start of New Year's Duathlon.

TBF Racing always needs volunteers to help keep our events organized, safe, and fun. If you or a friend would like to volunteer, please email Volunteers@totalbodyfitness.com.

Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A refund requested prior to race week will result in a TBF Race credit minus a $25 processing fee. Transfers allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame for a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
