Event Overview

• Year: The Mighty Dog Trail Runs are in their 12th year in 2027.
• Distances: Two distances available - 5K & 10K.
• Participants: Open for walkers, runners, and their dogs!
• Special Event: The Mighty Mile run for your Senior Dog returns this year.

Course Information

• Starting Point: Both races start from Granite Beach parking area.
• 5K Course: Features one aid station at the halfway point with water for walkers and dogs.
• Mighty Mile: A one-mile dog-friendly course for participants to bring their dogs.
• Awards: Finisher medals for athletes and bandanas for dogs at the finish line.

Participation Details

• Additional Dogs: $10 fee for each additional dog signed up to accompany the first dog.
• Safety Note: Athletes and their dogs must run safely without entangling others.
• Shirts: Commemorative Mighty Dog race shirts available for $20.
• Awards Categories: Places awarded in three divisions: Small Dog, Medium Dog, and Large Dog.

Event Schedule

• Registration Opens: 7 a.m.
• 10K Run Start: 8:00 a.m.
• 5K Run Start: 8:10 a.m.
• Mighty Mile Start: 8:15 a.m.

Refund and Transfer Policy

• No Refund Policy: TBF Racing does not offer refunds.
• Credit Policy: Refund requests before race week will be credited minus a $25 processing fee.
• Transfer Policy: Transfers allowed from one event to another within one year for a $25 fee.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Race for FREE: Volunteer program offering a chance to earn a $50 voucher for event entries.
• Volunteer Shift: 4-hour shifts available.
