Event Overview

• Year: The Mighty Dog Trail Runs are in their 12th year in 2027.
• Distances: Offers two distances: 5K & 10K - both for walkers, runners, and their dogs!
• Special Event: Back in 2027: The Mighty Mile run for your Senior Dog.
• Goal: We are excited to offer this event for athletes and their dogs and hope everyone has a fun time.

Race Details

• Start Point: The Mighty Dog 5K & 10K races will start from Granite Beach parking area at Folsom Lake SRA.
• Aid Stations: The 5K course will have one aid station at the halfway point with water for both walkers and their dogs.
• Mighty Mile: A one-mile dog friendly course for walkers and runners to bring their dear old friend along.
• Finisher Gifts: All Mighty Dog athletes will receive a Mighty Dog Finisher Medal, and their dog a Mighty Dog Finisher Bandana at the finish line.

Additional Information

• Extra Dogs: Additional dogs can be signed up to accompany the walker and dog #1 for a fee of $10 per dog. Each additional dog will receive a Finisher Bandana.
• Safety Policy: Athletes and their dogs MUST run safely and without entangling other dogs.
• Shirts: Commemorative Mighty Dog race shirts are available for $20.
• Awards: First, second, and third place awards for Small Dog (up to 25 lbs), Medium Dog (26 to 60 lbs), and Large Dog (61 lbs+). Awards for top Runners with no dogs in the 5K and 10K.

Event Schedule

• Registration Opens: 7 a.m.
• The Mighty Dog 10K Run: 8:00 a.m.
• The Mighty Dog 5K: 8:10 a.m.
• The Mighty Mile: 8:15 a.m.

Refund and Transfer Policy

• No Refund Policy: TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events.
• Credits: A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week.
• Transfers: Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame for a $25 transfer fee.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Race for FREE Program: Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher.
• Volunteer Shift: Each volunteer shift is 4 hours.
• Position Reservation: We ask volunteers to reserve a position by emailing Volunteers@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.
