2026 Lead the Way 5K for TLC

Event Overview

Join The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) for its second annual fun and family-friendly 5K Run/Walk in Framingham, MA. This event will directly benefit Deaf and hard of hearing students, individuals, and families that TLC supports across the Commonwealth and nationwide.

This year, we are proud to align our event with TLC's Annual Homecoming. We invite you all to attend our 5K, and then stay for a full day of vendor booths, food trucks, athletic games, and activities. Admission into our Homecoming is free; there are additional charges for food, drinks, and vendor sales.

Registration Pricing

• Early Bird: June 1 through July 31
• $30 - Ages 18+
• $10 - Ages 11-17
• Regular: August 1 through August 31
• $35 - Ages 18+
• $15 - Ages 11-17
• Late: September 1 through September 19
• $40 - Ages 18+
• $20 - Ages 10-17

Registration Details

• T-shirts: Available for an additional cost of $15 per registrant; Adult Size XS - 2XL only. The deadline to sign up for a T-shirt is August 15, 2026.
• Kids 10 and younger: Free, but parents are asked to register any child who will participate in our Kids Fun Run.
• Walk-ins: Will be accepted for the Late Registration Fees above.
• Service animals: Only service animals are permitted on the course and event grounds. We appreciate your understanding as we maintain a safe environment for all participants.

Tentative Schedule

• 6:30 AM: Registration Opens
• 7:30 AM: Kick-off Remarks and Pre-Race Warm Ups
• 7:45 AM: Race begins
• 9:00 AM: Kids Fun Run
• 9:15 AM: Prizes/Awards
• 10:00 AM: Homecoming Begins; Vendor Booths Open
