Welcome to the NEW Run 2 Read 2 Miler

Run through beautiful Fairmont, West Virginia and relax afterwards with your family at the 12th street pool for swimming, food, and fun - included in the registration! Registration at 5:00pm and race starts at 6:00pm.

T-Shirt Availability

• Availability: Run 2 Read t-shirts will be available for runners registered before 7/10/2026.
• Extras: Possible extras available on race day.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 females & top 3 males.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 in each age group (0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

Course Details

• Start Line: Near East-West Stadium.
• Course Type: Rolling course through residential neighborhoods of Fairmont's west side.
• Finish Line: In front of 12th Street Pool entrance with one water stop at halfway point at 1 mile.
• Refreshments: Finish line refreshments. Bathrooms available at the pool.

LVMC provides free tutoring to adults and children in basic reading, math, ESL (English as a second language), & GED preparation. LVMC is accredited by Pro Literacy Worldwide.
