Event Overview
Come on out for Night Flight 2026
Date: Saturday, July 25th on the USI campus.
4-Mile Run: Starts at 8:30pm.
Kids Half-Mile Dash: Free for ages 8 & under, starts at 8pm.
Schedule
- 4:00pm: Online Registration Closes, after that in-person registration on USI campus only!
- 6:30-8:00pm: Registration and packet pick up at Screaming Eagles Complex
- 8:00pm: Kids Half Mile (3 laps inside the Screaming Eagles Arena)
- 8:30pm: 4 Mile Run/Walk (Starts right in front of the Screaming Eagles Arena)
Awards
- 9:30pm approx: Awards (Front steps of Screaming Eagles Complex)
- Each Participant of the Kids run will receive a prize.
- Top 3 male and female overall in 4 Mile will receive a trophy.
- Top 2 male and female in each age group will receive a medal, with age groups ranging from 1-15 to 70-99.
Registration Details
- Cost: Only $25 registration. First 200 receive a shirt in the 4 mile.
- Reduced Price: After first 200, price reduced to $20.
- On-the-Day Registration: $30 on July 25th, online registration closes at 4pm.
- Timing: After 4pm, on-site registration only at USI starting at 6:30pm until 8pm.
Course Information
The 4-mile run will be on campus roads and the USI-Burdette Trail. Proceeds benefit the USI Athletics track and cross country programs.
Location
All race activities, including the start and finish, will be on the USI campus. USI is approximately two miles west of Evansville on Indiana Highway 62.
