Evansville Rotary’s elves are busy preparing for the Santa Run on Saturday, 12/6/2025:
The 12th annual Evansville Rotary Santa Run!!
Join us at 9AM for the CANNON start from Buffalo Trace Council’s Eykamp Scout Center, 3501 E. Lloyd Expressway, Evansville.
Course Details
- Date: Saturday morning, December 6, 2025 at 9 am.
- Location: The 5K race begins at Buffalo Trace Council, 3501 E Lloyd Expressway, Evansville, IN.
- Course: The 5K course travels west to Vann Ave and winds through east-side neighborhoods of Evansville, which is relatively flat.
- 1 Mile Walk: The 1 mile course starts at the Buffalo Trace Council and leads over the pedestrian bridge back to the start.
Kids Runs
- Start Time: 8:30am for the Santa Elf kids run.
- Distance: 50 meters to 150 meters for kids ages 1-9.
- Ages:
- 1-3 years old: 50 meters
- 4-6 years old: 100 meters
- 7-9 years old: 150 meters
- Medals: All finishers of the kids run will receive a medal.
Awards
- 5K Awards: Overall Fastest Male and Female will receive a trophy.
- Age Groups: First place male and female winners in age groups will receive a medal.
- Age Groups Include: 1-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
- Most Spirited Award: Five awards total in categories including Families, Teams, Kids (1-9 years), Young adults (10-18), Adults (19+).
Registration Information
- Registration Cost: $35 plus processing fee after December 3, 2025: Santa Elf registration is $5 per child.
- Packet Pickup: Friday, Dec. 5 from 11am to 6pm: Race day from 7am to 8:30am.
- Location: Buffalo Trace Council, 3501 E Lloyd Expressway, Evansville, IN.
- Late Registration: Available on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, with cash or check payment.
Additional Information
- Non-Refundable: All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Santa Suits: All registered participants will receive a 5-piece Santa suit.
- Weather Policy: The race will not be canceled for inclement weather.
- Timing: The race will be officially timed by “To the Finish.”
Race Day Considerations
- Strollers: Allowed in the 5K, but please exercise caution.
- Pets: No pets allowed in any races.
- Parking: Available at marked lots: do not park on busy streets.
