🌍 Program Partner

• Partner: Evansville Trails Coalition
• Nature Exploration: is an educational pillar at St. Vincent, and thanks to your support, we will be able to add/continue "Trails on a Smaller Scale" programming.

💵 Registration and Fees

5K Run/Walk

• Fee: $30 before May 5, 2026, $35 until June 7, 2026, and $40 on or after the event day.
• Policy: All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

1-Mile Family Fun Walk

• Fee: $15 before May 5, 2026, $20 until June 7, 2026, and $25 on or after the event day for a family of up to 5 people.
• Policy: All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

👕 T-Shirts

• 5K Registrations: All will receive a short-sleeved t-shirt!
• Guarantee: 5K Run registrations will be guaranteed a T-shirt on or before May 27, 2026.
• 1-Mile Purchases: Registrations may purchase a T-shirt(s) if done on or before May 27, 2025.
• Recommendation: A white or light-colored T-shirt is recommended for the "splash of color" feature.

🌈 Color Splash Experience

• Splash: Participants can experience being splashed with color during the event.
• Precautions: If you do not want to be splashed, stay to one side of the course.
• Eco-Friendly: The color dust is non-toxic, biodegradable, and not harmful to wildlife.
• Cleanup: Leaf blowers will be used to help disperse any excess color dust post-event.

🕗 Start Times

• 5K Timed Race: Begins at 8:00 am (CST).
• 5K Walk: Begins approximately at 8:05 am (CST).
• 1-Mile Children & Family Walk: Begins at approximately 9:15 am (CST).

🏆 Awards

• Categories: Awards will be given for top two males and females in age brackets.
• Overall Awards: Overall Female and Overall Male run awards will be presented.
• Schedule: Awards presentation will be around/by 9:15 a.m. CST.
• Special Recognition: Fun awards for participants ages 0 - 7 while supplies last.

🔍 Registration Check-In

• Location: Please check in at the registration tables before the start times near the race start area.
• Time: Check-in will begin at 7:00 a.m. (CDT).
• Policy: All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Bib/Shirt pickup at St. Vincent Early Learning Center on June 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CDT).
• Event Day: Pickup will also be available at Garvin Park on event day from 7:00 - 7:55 a.m. (CDT).
• Note: They will not be mailed to you.

• Needs: We will need many volunteers to help prepare for the race and host the event.
• Sign Up: Volunteer signup is available through runsignup.

📅 Date & Location

• Date: The Splash of Color 5K and 1-Mile will be on Saturday morning, June 13, 2026.
• Course: Starts on Bob Griese Pass near where N. Main Street ends and goes east.
• Route: Turns left onto Reis Ave and continues around the lake toward Pigeon Creek.

⏱️ Timing

• Timing Company: The race will be officially timed by “To the Finish.”
• Results: Posted at www.tothefinishtiming.com and on our runsignup page.

🌧️ Inclement Weather

• Decision: The decision to race or not will be made on the event day.
• Refunds: There will be no refunds, but purchased shirts can be picked up later.

👶 Strollers? Dogs? Etc.?

• Strollers: May be used in the 5K Walk or 1-Mile Family Walk.
• Pets: Dogs, cats, and other pets, as well as skates, skateboards, and scooters, are not allowed.
