HOPE's 16th Annual Sham Rock N Run 5k

Event Overview

• Event: HOPE's 16th Annual Sham Rock N' Run 5k
• Date: Saturday, March 06th, 2027
• Race Start Time: 8:00AM, Registration opens at 7:00AM
• Location: St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Oviedo, FL

Registration Benefits

• Performance: The first 700 to register will receive a Performance T-shirt, Finisher’s Medal, and a custom race bib.
• T-shirt Sizes: Adult sizes only and will not be guaranteed after January 23rd, 2027.
• Costumes: Participants are encouraged to dress up in their St. Patty's Day best! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
• Team Prize: There will also be a special prize for the largest team. All attendees will receive a race bag filled with your event t-shirt along with 5K swag.

Community Support

• Food Drive: We are asking our participants to fill and return the race bag with non-perishable food items to support our Food Pantry for families in need.
• Strollers: Children pushed in strollers are welcome to attend for free. All strollers and baby joggers must start at the back of the pack.
• Parking: Parking is available on site at no charge.
• Safety: For safety reasons, no skates, skateboards, bikes, or non-service animals will be allowed on the racecourse.

Awards and Giveaways

• Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 male/female runners in the following age categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Proceeds: All proceeds from the Sham Rock N Run benefit HOPE Helps, Inc., whose mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida.

Post-Race Information

• Shirt and Medal Pickup: If you are not present on race day, your shirt and medal will be available for pick up at HOPE Helps - 812 Eyrie Drive, Oviedo, FL 32765 beginning March 8th through March 12th, 2027.
• Shipping: Or they can be mailed to you for an additional $5 postage fee. Email events@hopehelps.org for more details.
• Refunds: No refunds or transfers will be given.
