Event Overview

• Event Name: 2nd Annual Kisatchie Crusher

Weekend Experience

• Friday Night: Camping or group lodging onsite is encouraged.
• RV Sites: Available for $33 a night at www.recreation.gov.
• Cabins: Bunkbed style cabins for $125 a night at www.CampCaney.com.
• Facilities: Day Use Area with shade, amphitheater, picnic tables, AC power, restrooms, sandy beach & lake swimming.

Race Details

• Registration Deadline: Register by Sept 3rd at 11:59pm for a T-shirt.
• Post Race Meal: Included in registration price.
• Park Fee: $5 park fee is covered by your signup!
• Aid Stations: Available on 5k/10k & longer cycling distances.

Gravel Bike Race

• Options: 18, 43, or 66 mile options.
• Course: 50/50 gravel/paved with good elevation and scenic piney wood views.
• Timing: Chip Timed. E-bikes are welcome.
• Elevation Routes:
  • 18 Route: 1200’ elevation - View Route
  • 43 Route: 2900’ elevation - View Route
  • 66 Route: 4400’ elevation - View Route

5k/10k Run/Walk

• Course: On paved roads inside the park with beautiful lake views.
• Timing: Chip Timed.
• Description: Scenic views throughout the race.
• Routes: Chip timed for all distance options.

Fondo Road Shakeout Ride

• Options: 18, 33, or 54 miles on 100% paved back country roads.
• Segments: Each route will have 2-3 Strava Segments marked.
• Elevation: Varies by distance with good elevation changes.
• E-bikes: Welcome on the Fondo ride.

MTB Race

• Trail: Classic Sugar Cane Trail with additional segments.
• Conditions: Dirt, roots, and some climbs. Chip Timed.
• E-bikes: Not allowed on MTB trails per Rangers.
• Categories: Beginners (1 Lap), Cat 3 (2 Laps), Cat 2 & Single Speed (3 Laps), Cat 1 (3 Laps)

Participant Information

• Post Race Meal: Included for all participants.
• T-Shirt: Register by July 31st for early bird pricing, and by Sept 3rd for a T-shirt.
• Refund Policy: No refunds.
• Proceeds: All proceeds go to Bike Minden for trail maintenance & expansion at Caney Lakes & Kisatchie Forest.
