• Inaugural Event: Join us for the inaugural Bridgeport Mile – Track Style, a high-energy community race created to bring competitive running back to Bridgeport and support the Field of Dreams Program.
• Organizer: Presented by CT RUN CO and NIKE.
• Fastest Track Mile: Touted as the fastest Track Mile Race in CT, The Bridgeport Mile will include music and a fun-festival atmosphere.

Purpose

• Community Focus: For years, road races have moved away from Bridgeport, leaving local athletes with fewer nearby racing opportunities.
• Local Competition: The Bridgeport Mile changes that by giving high school students the chance to compete in their own community.
• Skill Development: This event helps sharpen their skills before the upcoming season.
• Exciting Experience: Participants will experience the excitement of track-style racing.
