Race Overview

• Community Event: Join the Deer Park and La Porte, Texas communities for the 6th annual 5K.
• Participation: Whether you're running, walking, or crawling, come start the day with this 5K before heading inside for the main Back the Blue BBQ & Festival!
• Location: This year, the event will be held at the NEW Jimmy Burke Activity Center.
• Purpose: This annual event aims to bring together local officers with their community, and provide support for the men & women in blue.

Participation Information

• Eligibility: You do not have to be law enforcement to participate! (Current law enforcement officers: please email us ahead of time for your discount code).
• Registration Deadline: Last day to register and receive a race t-shirt: October 6th. (IF we have leftover shirts, they may be available race morning after 8:30 am).
• Route: The exact race route is being re-evaluated and will be posted at a later date. Terrain will remain level roadway.
• Packet Pickup: Thursday, October 15th, exact time TBD: Friday, October 16th, exact time TBD.

• Proceeds: All proceeds go to the Deer Park Police Officer's Association (501c4).
