Join Us

• Community Support: Join the Deer Park and La Porte, Texas communities for the 6th annual 5K.
• Event Activities: Start the day with this 5k before heading inside for the main Back the Blue BBQ & Festival!
• New Venue: This year’s event will be held at the NEW Jimmy Burke Activity Center.
• Purpose: This annual event aims to bring together local officers with their community and provide support for the men & women in blue.

Registration Details

• Eligibility: You do not have to be law enforcement to participate! (current law enforcement officers: please email us ahead of time for your discount code).
• Registration Deadline: Last day to register and receive a race t-shirt: October 6th.
• T-Shirt Availability: If we have leftover shirts, they may be available on race morning after 8:30 AM.
• Race Route: The exact race route is being re-evaluated and will be posted at a later date. Terrain will remain level roadway.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Thursday, October 15th, exact time TBD.
• Date: Friday, October 16th, exact time TBD.
• Proceeds: All proceeds go to the Deer Park Police Officer's Association (501c4).
