BASIC INFORMATION

EVENT NAME:
FRIENDS OF MAE S. BRUCE LIBRARY FUN RUN

The Friends of Mae S. Bruce Library is hosting their 4th Annual Friends of Mae S. Bruce Library Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, October 17, 2026 with all proceeds benefiting the Mae S. Bruce Library in Santa Fe, Texas. Join the fun and support our awesome library and the Santa Fe community.

RACE TIMES

• 1K RUN/WALK: 8:00 A.M.
• 5K RUN/WALK: 8:30 A.M.
• Virtual Run/Walk 1K: Now - 10:00 A.M. on race day
• Virtual Run/Walk 5K: Now - 10:00 A.M. on race day

Note: NO REFUNDS and NO RAIN DATE. Thanks for your support.

INCENTIVES

• Incentives: T-Shirt, Giveaways, Door Prizes
• Participation Medals: All participants receive a participation medal at the end of the race.
• Awards: To be given in each event to male & female entrants finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall.
• Kids Awards: Awards will be given to Kids ONLY (male & female) ages 2 years to 12 years finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall.

EVENT DETAILS

• 1K Run/Walk: Open to all ages, individuals and teams occur concurrently: runners start first.
• 5K Fun Run/Walk: Open to all ages, walkers should walk on the right side of the course.
• Course Guidelines: Walkers should stay to the right side of the course, allowing runners to pass on the left.
• Awards: Will be given to male & female entrants in the 5K finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall.

PRICING

Note: Early Bird pricing increases at midnight September 18th. If you sign up before then, you save $5 - $10 and you get a t-shirt.

• EARLY BIRD SPECIAL until September 17, 2026:
  1K Run/Walk - $25 + site fees
  5K Run/Walk - $35 + site fees
• September 18, 2026 – October 16, 2026:
  1K Run/Walk - $30 + site fees
  5K Run/Walk - $40 + site fees
• EVENT DAY October 17, 2026:
  1K Run/Walk - $35 + site fees
  5K Run/Walk - $45 + site fees
• FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEAMS:
  1K Run/Walk - $20 + site fees
  5K Run/Walk - $25 + site fees

PACKET PICKUP DATES

• October 16, 2026: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM at MAE S. BRUCE LIBRARY
• October 17, 2026: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM at JOE TAMBRELLA PARK
• Unclaimed packets: May be picked up at the library during regular business hours thru Friday, October 30, 2026.
