EVENT NAME:
FRIENDS OF MAE S. BRUCE LIBRARY FUN RUN

The Friends of Mae S. Bruce Library is hosting their 4th Annual Friends of Mae S. Bruce Library Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, October 17, 2026 with all proceeds benefiting the Mae S. Bruce Library in Santa Fe, Texas. Join the fun and support our awesome library and the Santa Fe community.

RACE TIMES

• 1K RUN/WALK: 8:00 A.M.
• 5K RUN/WALK: 8:30 A.M.
• Virtual Run/Walk 1K: Now - 10:00 A.M. on race day
• Virtual Run/Walk 5K: Now - 10:00 A.M. on race day

Note: NO REFUNDS and NO RAIN DATE. Thanks for your support.

INCENTIVES

• T-Shirt: All participants receive a T-Shirt.
• Giveaways: Random prizes for participants.
• Door Prizes: Opportunity to win fun prizes.
• Awards: Participation medals & awards for overall finishers.

EVENT DETAILS

• 1K Run/Walk: Open to all ages. Both events occur concurrently: with runners starting first and walkers following.
• Rules: Walkers should stay to the right side of the course: allowing runners to pass on the left side.
• Awards: Kids ONLY (ages 2-12) finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall.
• 5K Fun Run/Walk: Open to all ages. Awards for male & female entrants finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall.

PRICING

• Early Bird Special until September 17, 2026:
  1K Run/Walk - $25 + site fees: 5K Run/Walk - $35 + site fees.
• September 18, 2026 – October 16, 2026:
  1K Run/Walk - $30 + site fees: 5K Run/Walk - $40 + site fees.
• Event Day October 17, 2026:
  1K Run/Walk - $35 + site fees: 5K Run/Walk - $45 + site fees.
• Friends and Family Teams:
  1K Run/Walk - $20 + site fees: 5K Run/Walk - $25 + site fees.

PACKET PICKUP DATES

• Friday, October 16, 2026: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM at MAE S. BRUCE LIBRARY
• Saturday, October 17, 2026: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM at JOE TAMBRELLA PARK
• Unclaimed packets: May be picked up at the library during regular business hours thru Friday, October 30, 2026.
