2027 Fox Point Sunset Road Race

Experience the Fox Point Sunset Road Race!

Join us for the most scenic race on the Seacoast! The course takes runners and walkers through the historic streets of Newington Village, past beautiful water views, picturesque farmland, and a few challenging hills! Whether you're tackling our original 5-Miler, taking on the 5K, or cheering on our youngest participants in the Kids Fun Run, there's something for everyone at the Fox Point Sunset Road Race!

New for 2027! Can't join us in person? Participate virtually and support Newington Public School from wherever you are!

After crossing the finish line, stick around for our post-race BBQ! It's a chance to celebrate your accomplishment, connect with fellow runners, and enjoy the community spirit that makes this race so special.

One Race. One Community School. One Big Impact.

The Fox Point Sunset Road Race is the primary fundraiser for Newington School Supporters (NSS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of students at Newington Public School. Newington Public School is a small public school doing extraordinary things. With small, multi-age classrooms, hands-on, project-based learning, and a strong connection to the natural world, students benefit from an educational experience that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Every registration and sponsorship makes a difference. Proceeds from the race support classroom enrichment, educational programs, and experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. This year, we're also working toward an exciting goal: helping fund a new playground for our students and community.

When you participate in the Fox Point Sunset Road Race, you're doing more than crossing a finish line. You're helping a small school create big opportunities for its students.

Run for the challenge. Run for the community. Run for our kids!
