Brothers of Mercy Oktoberfest & Race to Remember

Join us for Oktoberfest & Race to Remember, a meaningful community event honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11th while bringing together runners, walkers, families, friends, and neighbors for an evening of remembrance, connection, and celebration.

The evening begins with our Oktoberfest party at 5:30 PM, followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 6:30 PM. Participants will take on a certified 5K course that winds through secure suburban streets and the picturesque Tillman Wildlife Management Area before returning to campus for food, drinks, music, raffles, and post-race festivities.

This year’s event will include a Ceremony of Remembrance, offering a special tribute to honor the lives impacted by 9/11 and recognize the strength, unity, and resilience that continue to bring communities together.

Enjoy live music and dancing with The Polka Boyz, authentic German food including bratwurst, German potato salad, Bavarian pretzels, and more, plus international beer including premium beer donated by Hofbräuhaus. Guests can also take part in basket raffles featuring great prizes and local favorites.

Party Only: $25 through September 10
Kids 10 and under: Free

5K registration includes admission to the post-race Oktoberfest party. The first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
