Attention all trailblazers, pioneers, and audacious gentlefolk! 🤠: The Mammoth Trail Run is calling you out to the untamed expanse of High Hope Ranch. We’ve carved out a thousand acres of rugged Texas Hill Country for a true test of your mettle. Gather the herd and prepare for an expedition that’ll leave you with legendary tales to tell. 🌵:
A word to the wise: Some areas of the course feature downright STEEP inclines and declines. Trail shoes with heavy traction are highly advised to keep your boots firmly on the trail! 🥾:
Race Categories
- 100K Ultra: For the absolute boldest of the bunch! (26-hour cutoff) 🕰:️
- 50K | 25K | 10K | 5K: Rugged paths for every level of grit. ⛰️
- The Mighty Mammoth 1K: A spirited, non-timed dash for the young 'uns! 🏃:💨:
Finisher Rewards
- Finisher's Medal: Every pioneer who crosses the finish line earns a handsome Finisher's Medal and an OFFICIAL race shirt.
- Finisher BUCKLE: Survive the 100K Ultra, and you’ll be walking away with a mighty heavy Finisher BUCKLE to prove your fortitude.
- Refreshments: Plentiful provisions along the route to keep your canteens full and your wagon rolling.
- Post-Race Celebration: A post-race hootenanny complete with hearty grub, cold revitalizing tonics, and foot-stomping music!
Race Rules
- No Hounds: By official USATF decree, pets must remain at the homestead.
- Pack Your Own Canteen: This is a cupless expedition! Bring your own hydration vessels to keep the frontier pristine.
- Come Hell or High Water: We run rain or shine. The frontier waits for no one!
- Glory is the Prize: No age-group awards here. Your reward is the pure, unadulterated triumph of conquering the elements.
Race Day Itinerary
- 06:00 AM: The gates open for Packet Pick-up
- 07:00 AM: 100K Stampede Begins
- 07:30 AM: 50K Start
- 11:00 AM: The Mighty Mammoth 1K Kids Race! 🦣:
Accommodations
🏕:️ CAMP & QUARTERS: Stake your claim under the wide-open Texas sky! Primitive camping and Boondocking sites (no hook-ups) are available right on the land for $10 a head (max 6 per site). Prefer a solid roof over your head? The local guest houses and the Baymont Inn & Suites in town will treat you right. 🛏:️
Refund and Transfer Policy
♻️ REFUNDS/TRANSFERS: Race Entry Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, however TRANSFERS to another Person, Category or Mammoth Event are allowed.
