Event Overview
The Pink and Blue 5k Run and Fun Walk in beautiful Middletown, Maryland is a family friendly event to raise money for Breast Cancer Research, Awareness, and Care.
Purpose of the Event
- Aware of Male Breast Cancer: The race is called Pink and Blue for a good reason - to raise public awareness of Male Breast Cancer.
- Statistics: While Male Breast Cancer makes up less than 1% of cases, it has a higher mortality rate because of the lack of public awareness than Men Get it Too!
- Mission: It is our mission to fix that and to make Male Breast Cancer part of the conversation.
Beneficiaries
- Profits Allocation: All profits from the event will be shared between The Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund and the Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance.
- Dedicated Organizations: Two organizations dedicated to working for a cure for all Breast Cancers.
