About the Event

Join us for a morning of costumes, community, and Halloween fun benefiting LifeLine Animal Project.

• Participation: Designed for everyone, whether you're racing for a personal best or showing off your dog’s costume.
• Highlight: This year features Boston Terriers, known for their big personalities.
• Receive: Participants will receive an event T-shirt and finisher medal featuring a caped Boston Terrier.
• Note: Last year’s event sold out, so don’t wait to reserve your spot.

Spooky Pooch is more than a race. Bring your friends, cheer on participants, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate dogs and the people who love them.

Race Features

• Timed 5K: Ages 8+ only
• 1 Mile Fun Run: All ages welcome
• Virtual Participation: Option available
• Costume Contests: For both humans and pets!

Registration Levels

All participants, including children and dogs, must be registered to participate.

• Timed 5K: $40 Early Bird (through August 28)
• General Registration: $45 (August 29–October 9)
• Last-Minute Registration: $55 (October 10–20)
• Includes: 5K race entry, timing chip, race bib, finisher medal, event T-shirt, access to post-race activities.

Fun Run/Walk

A shorter, lower-activity option for families with small children, older dogs, and participants who want a more relaxed way to join the fun.

• Capacity: Limited | Ages 3+
• Early Bird: $30 (Available through August 28)
• General Registration: $35 (Available August 29–October 9)
• Includes: Fun Run/Walk entry, event T-shirt, access to post-race activities.

Virtual Runner

$40 | All ages can participate!

Can’t make it to Grant Park? Complete your 5K from anywhere and still participate in Spooky Pooch.

• Includes: Event T-shirt, finisher medal, shipping within the United States.

Dog Add-On

$15 | Limited capacity

Bring your pup along for the fun. Registered dogs will receive a spooky bandana, mini finisher medal, and access to dog-friendly event activities.

• Registration Limit: Each human participant may register one dog.
• Safety: All dogs must be non-reactive and properly socialized.
• Waivers: Required for all dogs.

All proceeds benefit LifeLine Animal Project, helping keep pets and families together while saving thousands of homeless animals across Atlanta.
