It’s no secret that Cinco de Mayo is one of the most fun holidays on the calendar – come celebrate it with us at the Inaugural Worcester Cinco (5)K! This festive run/walk will bring the party to the streets of Downtown Worcester on Sunday, May 2, 2027.

Kids Race

And don’t forget the Kids! The Worcester Cinco K event will also include a Kids race open to children 10 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their children.

Looking for an extra challenge? Join us for the Inaugural Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, a 3-Race 5K series that celebrates some of the most fun holidays of the year.

• First Race: Worcester Jingle 5K on December 6, 2026
• Second Race: Guinness Celtic 5K on March 14, 2027
• Final Race: Worcester Cinco (5)K on May 2, 2027
• Recognition: Finishers receive a medal at the Worcester Cinco K.

Time: 9:30am Kids Run // 10am 5K Run/Walk

Location: 446 Main Street, Worcester MA.

Events

• Kids Dash Run: Approximately 1/2 mile for ages 12 and under. Parents may run with their children.
• Start Time: 9:30 am
• 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 Miles. Walkers are welcome.
• Note: No pets allowed and strollers must start in the back for safety reasons. Start Time: 10am

Virtual Participants

If you are participating in the race virtually, we encourage you to pick up your race shirt from us at a Pre-Race Packet Pickup if you are able to. If you cannot make it, we will mail your shirt to the address provided on RunSignUp AFTER race day.

• Series Eligibility: Virtual participation counts toward race series.

• Early Registration: $33 to 12/31/2026
• January-March 2027: $35 1/1/2027 to 3/31/2027
• April Registration: $37 4/1/2027 to 5/1/2027
• Race Day Registration: $45

Online registration closes at 7p.m. on 5/1/2027. T-Shirts are not guaranteed for walk-up registrations.

Kids Elves Run: Ages 10 and under, distances approximately 50m for ages 1-5 and 1/2 mile for ages 6-10.

• Entry Fee: $15 to 12/31/2026
• Subsequent Fees: $16 1/1/2027 to 3/31/2027, $17 4/1/2027 to 5/1/2027, $20 Race weekend walk-up registration
• Sorry, no refunds and no pets allowed.
