🏃‍♂️ INTERCOURSE LIBRARY 5K

Every Mountain Outdoors and RunPA Present the “Intercourse Library 5K”. This event is a fundraiser for the Intercourse Library. All proceeds go directly to the library.

• Location: Intercourse Library
• Address: 31 Center St, Intercourse, PA 17534
• Parking: Follow instructions and signs for parking at the event.

⏰ SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

• 8:45am - 9:30am: Pick Up / Race Day Registration
• 9:45am: Race Announcements
• 10:00am: Start of Race
• Registration Fee: $45, Paid via Cash or Check (Race day registration is available)

This event is rain or shine.

🗺️ COURSE DESCRIPTION

• Route Map: Available under MORE / PHOTOS / ROUTE MAP on the website.
• Course: Enjoy the beautiful country backroads of Intercourse, PA! A well-marked course on paved roads.
• Route: Follow signs to Queen Road, make right onto Queen Road, right onto Harvest Drive, left onto Belmont Road, left onto W Pequea Lane, left onto Queen Road, left back toward the Start/Finish through HC Quality Doors lot.
• Water Station: There will be a water stop aid station along Pequea Lane approximately halfway, equipped with water and electrolyte drink only.

👕 SHIRTS

Participants who signed up before the cutoff of October 1st will receive a moisture-wicking race shirt. Any remaining shirts will be available after the race on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Overall Awards: Overall Male & Overall Female
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Male & Female
• Categories: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

🛍️ VENDORS / SPONSORS

Vendors/Sponsors may set up a table or 10x10 tent near the starting/finish line. All tents must be weighted down, and vendors/sponsors are solely responsible for their equipment. All must be set up no later than 9am.

📜 RULES

• Bib Placement: Bibs must be worn on the front and visible at all times.
• No Course Cutting: Follow the marked course: it will be clearly marked.
• Do Not Litter: Disposing of trash at aid stations or carrying your own is required.
• Dropping Out: Notify the race director if you are unable to finish.
• Refund Policy: No refunds for race registrations and cancellation requests will not be responded to.

📚 ABOUT THE LIBRARY

Intercourse Library is part of the Library System of Lancaster County (LSLC), established in 1987 with fourteen member libraries, two branches, and a Bookmobile. The main library is in Intercourse, and a branch library is in Gap.
