Join us on July 12, 2026, at 445 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA for the Track Stars Youth Track Festival. Registration is now open to the public for the youth mile and fun run.

Event Overview

• Organizer: Track Stars, a non-profit youth track and field club powered by Chester County Students & Alum.
• Community Events: Non-track stars athletes are welcome to register for two open community events.
• Team Participation: Session 2 Track Stars athletes should use this sign-up to enter the meet.
• Important Note: NO SESSION 1 ATHLETES SHOULD USE THIS RUNSIGNUP!

Youth Open Mile

• Heats: 2 Heats run COED - Elementary than Middle School.
• Awards: Top 3 in 4 Award Divisions receive ribbons - Elementary Girls, Elementary Boys, Middle School Girls, Middle School Boys.
• Timing: FAT Timing, Waterfall start (no lanes).
• Distance: Full Mile (not 1600m).

Fun Runs

• Toddler Dash: PreK / 4 & Under 30m Dash, 8 kids at a time, no lanes, no timing. Plastic medals/ribbons for all.
• Fun Run: 1st Grade / 6 & Under 400m run, 1 lap around the track, 1 heat. Running clock, plastic medals/ribbons for all.

Track Schedule

• Warm-Ups: Arrival & Warm-Ups starts at 9:30 AM.
• Coaches Meeting: 9:45 AM.
• Hurdles: 10:00 AM start, various age divisions.
• Dash Events: 100m Dash at 10:15 AM, followed by 400m Dash at 10:30 AM.

Event Highlights

• 4U & 6U Fun Runs: Approximately 11:15 AM for Toddler Dash and 400m Fun Run.
• Youth Open Mile: Approximately 12:00 PM with 4 heats for girls and boys.
• Relays: Girls and Boys 4 x 100m, Mixed 4 x 400m Relays.
• Trophy Ceremony: Held after the events.

General Rules

• Awareness: Athletes should know their events and parents should stay informed.
• Spectator Rules: No parents on or inside the track.
• Photography: No flash photography, bells, or horns.
• False Starts: Result in a double gun/whistle and recall of runners.

Awards

• Ribbon Awards: Given for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd approximately 15 minutes after the event.
• PR Ribbons: For first-time races/events or personal records.
• Participation Medals: Given at chapter practices, not meets.
• Merchandise: T-shirts and other items available for sale.

Community Entry

• Sign-Up Fee: Non-team members track stars session 1 mini league athletes - $10 Fun Run Sign-Up.
• Major League: Non-team members track stars session 1 major league athletes - $10 Youth Open Mile.

Fun Run Rules

• No Placements: No placements or times will be recorded.
• No Lanes: Runners will not be assigned lanes.
• Participation Medals: Everyone receives a ribbon/plastic medal.
