Mountains-to-Sea Trail 13M & 50K Challenge

Race Overview

Join us for some beautiful spring single track trail miles along the MST!

The 18th annual trail race will follow the beautiful Mountains-to-Sea Trail (MST) as it winds through the woods along the Eno River towards Falls Lake.

The 2027 Race will again be held at Riverside High School.

Participant Information

• Awards: All participants will receive a custom race shirt, finisher's award, and plenty of refreshments at the finish line!
• Course Setup: Expect a well-marked course, well-stocked aid stations, accurate results, and a good time!
• Greener Event: MST 13M & 50K will be cupless! Please carry your own hydration device on the course.
• Additional Awards: Top 3 overall finishers (Male & Female) and top overall masters finishers (Male & Female) in each race will receive extra awards.

Trail Race Details

This is a trail race: very different than a road race. You will encounter many obstacles you would not normally see in a road race. The course is a single-track hiking trail, so be prepared for roots, rocks, quick turns, logs, woodland critters, and possibly water to avoid.

• Hydration: Plenty of aid stations and volunteers will be present, but if it’s a hot day or if you think you need more fluids, we highly recommend carrying your own.
• Running Guidelines: Please do not run with your dog, unregistered pacers, headphones (open ear such as Shokz are OK), jog strollers, and do not litter on the trail.
