Riva Runs The Boardwalk 5k

Event Overview

THIS FALL'S NEWEST SEACOAST RUN & WALK is on TAP!

JOIN US AT RIVA on the water in West Haven - famous for its dining, drinks and entertainment!

• Organizer: RIVAGIVESBACK will be hosting this event.
• Participation: Join us before the sun sets and then stay for the after party. ALL abilities are encouraged to join us!
• Course: Run/walk mostly on the boardwalk, a very flat and scenic 3.11 miles, with lots of amenities.

Included Features

• T-shirt: Specially designed t-shirt guaranteed by Sept 1 (after, as available & may run out)
• Timing: Computer chip timed
• Post-race refreshment: Adult beverage after you finish to all 21 & over
• Snacks: Snacks & N/a beverages

Awards and Recognition

• Awards: Top male & female overall (removed from their age group)
• Age Groups: 1st place age groups: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• Additional Prizes: Awards/prizes/gift cards TBD (see below)

Course Details

• Course Approval: A work in progress based on permits and WH Police approval.
• Flat Terrain: Guaranteed FLAT with at least one turnaround point.
• Water Station: There will be one water table as well but it's always a good practice to carry your own.
• Course Support: It will be well marked with volunteers on course & police.

Parking Information

There are "lots" of it, just to the right of Riva. Enough for over 200 cars.
