🌅 SANDY HOOK - GATEWAY NATIONAL RECREATION AREA

• History: The Jersey Shore Half Marathon, hosted by the Shore Athletic Club, has a rich history making it one of the oldest distance events in New Jersey.
• First Race: The first Jersey Shore Marathon was held in 1972. 2023 marked the 50th Running of this Half Marathon!
• Course: This USATF-certified course is a very flat and fast 2-loop course!
• Scenery: Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sandy Hook and the area when you are done!

🧥 HALF MARATHON REGISTRATION

• Early Bird: $75 early bird "throwback price" discount for the first 100 entrants from February 2-14, 2025.
• Fees:
  • $75 by February 14, 2025
  • $90 by June 30, 2025
  • $100 by October 3, 2025*
  • $125 on October 4 and Event Day*
• Limit: This year’s race is limited to 800 participants. Registration will remain open until full.

🏅 EVENT DAY SCHEDULE

• Date: October 5, 2025
• Location: Lifesaving Station Between Lots D and E
• Time:
  • 7:30 - 8:30 AM: Pre-registration bib + shirt pick up
  • 9:00 AM: Half Marathon Start
  • 9:05 AM: 2 Mile Start

🍻 POST-RACE PARTY

Noon - Post-Race Party at Off The Hook Restaurant, Highlands, NJ - One free domestic draft beer or soda with your "Off the Hook" pass available at bib pick-up.

👟 REGISTRATION + PERSONALIZED TRAINING PLAN

• Pricing: $150 by February 14, 2025
• Later Fees:
  • $165 by June 30, 2025
  • $175 by October 4, 2025

🚗 PARKING

Plenty of free parking is available within the park, close to the start/finish area. Races start and finish near Parking LOT E.

🏆 AWARDS

• CASH PRIZES: Minimum of $200, $150 and $125 to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers.
• AGE GROUP AWARDS: Custom awards for the Top 3 finishers in each 5-year age group.
• ALL FINISHERS: Receive a long sleeve event tee and a custom Jersey Shore Half Marathon 2025 finisher medal.
