Race Overview

To race on a course on the Monmouth Battlefield is to run through the site of the Battle of Monmouth fought on June 28, 1778, a pivotal engagement in the Revolutionary War. This is a National Historic Landmark, the highest level of recognition bestowed on our nation's historic sites. This is not just a race, it's become a runner's right of passage. So join us for our inaugural event to make your run as revolutionary as this place is to all of us.

Event Features

• Chip Timed: With live video stream and online tracking, finish line pictures and video.
• Course: Well marked with support stations at every mile.
• Half Marathon: Four loop 3.27 mile course.
• 10K: Two loop 3.1 mile course; 5K: One loop 3.1 mile course.

Schedule

• Bib Pick-up: Starts at 8:30 am.
• Race Start: 9:30 am (Subject to change due to weather conditions).
• Identification: Bring picture I.D.
• Timing Chip: You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it.

Baggage Check-in

• Check-in Time: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
• Tag: Your bib will have a tear off tag that you will pin to your personal bag.
• Retrieval: You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from the secure area.

Results and Awards

• Preliminary Results: Will be posted at around 11:00 a.m.
• Awards Ceremony: 11:15 – 11:30 a.m.
• Post Race Celebration: Muffins, Cider Donuts, fruits, and drinks!
• Policy: There are no transfers, no credits, no refunds. Race Directors reserve the right to change the date, modify or cancel the race. If this is the case your entry may be transferred to another event.
