Ahoy, mateys! Hoist the colors and join us for the Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half Marathon, a swashbuckling adventure on the run celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day all month long. Whether you're a seasoned captain or a landlubber just looking for some fun, gather your crew and set sail for a race filled with pirate spirit, treasure, and plenty of "Arrr's!"

Race Options

• Choose your quest: 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon.
• Finishers' medal: Every buccaneer who successfully walks the plank and crosses the finish line will earn a custom finisher medal worthy of any pirate's treasure chest.

• Date: September 20, 2026
• Location: Tingley Beach in Albuquerque, NM
• Start time: 8:00 AM
• Dress code: Come out dressed in your favorite pirate garb (and some running shoes).

Awards

Awards will be presented in all three distances to the top three male and female finishers in our traditional five-year age groups, giving pirates of all ages a chance to claim their share of the booty.
