The Albuquerque Marathon is proud to partner with Heading Home, offering participants and community members an opportunity to contribute toward a truly worthy and impactful cause. A portion of event proceeds, along with generous participant donations, will directly support Heading Home’s mission to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque.
Heading Home provides essential services to the unhoused and precariously housed throughout Albuquerque. Their mission is to empower individuals experiencing homelessness through compassionate outreach, comprehensive support services, and strong community partnerships, creating pathways to stable housing and long-term stability.

Race-day registration will be available. All events start on time. This event is chip-timed. Participants must wear their bib and timing chip to be included in the results and awards.
In the event of severe weather creating unsafe conditions, the race may be canceled. No refunds will be issued.
Marathon, Half Marathon & Relay Start: Winter Haven Rd. (north end), just south of Sagebrush Community Church (parking area)
The first relay runner starts on Winter Haven Rd. No shuttle is provided between the finish and the second runner's start.
Stay inside the orange traffic cones at all times. Follow all instructions from volunteers and signage.
Participants must behave respectfully toward all event stakeholders. Prohibited actions include alcohol consumption and obstructing participants.
Available near start and finish. Bib number required to retrieve gear.
An electronic timing device is attached to the bib. Bib must be worn on the front and visible at all times.
All finishers receive a Finisher Medal. Awards announced immediately after each event.
