Run with Joy Half Marathon and Run with Joy 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Calling all unicorn and beer lovers! Join us for this unicorn themed half marathon and 5k on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in honor of our late friends, Lawrence Joy and Mike Thrall.

📍 Location

• Start/Finish Point: Canteen Brewhouse, 2381 Aztec Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM
• Course: An out and back course primarily on the North Diversion Channel Trail
• Aid Stations: Available at the halfway point of the 5k and throughout the half marathon
• Restrooms: Available at the start and finish

🎁 Participant Perks

• Swag: T-shirt and a pint of beer of your choice after the run
• Half Marathon Medal: All Half Marathon participants will receive a finishers medal
• Root Beer: Available for participants under 21 and non-beer drinkers
• Post-Run Activities: Live music, food, and raffle open to all finishers

⏱️ Timing & Registration

• Professional Timing: Provided by Feral Adventures
• T-Shirt Size: Run with Joy shirt and specific size cannot be guaranteed if you register after 3/1/2026
• Price Increase: Increases on 2/1/2026 for the 5k and half marathon
• Packet Pickup: March 27th from 5-7PM at Canteen Brewhouse

🍺 Race Day Information

• Beer Policy: Must be 21 to receive your complimentary beer. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Day of Registration: Available, but you will not be guaranteed a shirt
• Course Closure: Race course will be open until 12PM
• Carb Loading: $1 off pints with your race bib on Friday evening
