🏃‍♂️ CHERRY GARCIA RUN

Register today for the 21st Annual Cherry Garcia Run scheduled for Sunday, June 15, 2025. This summer event is a great addition to your seasonal fun! Whether it is the 10K, 5K Run, 5K, or Kids K, we have an event for you! This year's run is held on Father's Day, making it an opportunity to create lasting family memories and participate with your father, in honor of your father, or simply fathers everywhere. Suitable for all ages and abilities, imagine the fun you and your family could have! If you have an unbeatable experience, this is the race for you! Hundreds of participants at the start of this fast and flat loop course nestled in the heart of North. Age group and overall awards, including participant medals and a great Cherry Garcia Run tee shirt, await you, along with some other summer favorites at the finish. Our misting tunnel super soaker, Kids K, will cool you down! For additional information, visit www.irunfit.org. Proceeds from the event benefit RunFit school youth running programs and school-based RunFit “Fifteen and Fit” youth running and fitness programs.

• 10K: 8:00 A.M.
• 5K: 8:15 A.M.
• Kids K: 9:15 A.M.

📝 PACKET PICKUP AND LATE REGISTRATION

• Date: June 14, 2025
• Time: 11:00-3:00 P.M.
• Location: FLEET FEET SPORTS, North Towne Plaza, 5901 Wyoming Suite R, Albuquerque NM 87109
• Note: Race-day registration is available. All pre-registered participants must pick up their event packets at “Packet Pickup.”

🚗 PARKING

• Location: Parking is available at Valley High School.
• Instructions: Volunteers will instruct where to park. Please do not park on Valley Pool Rd or on dirt just north of Valley Pool Rd.
• 10K Participants: Park at Griegos Elementary School on the north side of campus.
• Arrival: Please arrive between 6:30 A.M. and no later than 7:30 A.M.

🏅 RESULT TIMING

• Timing Device: All participants are assigned an electronic timing device before the Event.
• Proper Use: Participants must wear their assigned timing device continuously from the start line to the finish line.
• Review: All finish times are reviewed before deemed official.
• Timing Disqualification: Participants found wearing two or more Event-issued electronic timing devices will be disqualified.

🏃‍♀️ RACE REQUIREMENTS

• Race Bib: Each participant will receive a Race (Bib) number that must be worn on race day.
• Visibility: Bib number must be visible and worn on the front outside of all clothing during the entire race.
• Transfer Policy: Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be worn by the registered runner only.
• Medical Support: Medical staff members will be ready to assist at any time.

🏆 AWARDS

• 10K: Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women.
• Age Group Prizes: Given to the top three finishers in various age categories.
• Kids K: All participants (12 and under) will receive a special recognition award.
• Event Day: Overall and age group division award winners will be announced immediately after the Kids K.

Please note: All registered participants may pick up their event packet, Event Bib, and T-shirt at the time and location listed above, “Packet Pickup.” For those who purchased the “shipping”, your race swag will be mailed out beginning June 9, 2025, and continue as registrations come in.
