🏃‍♂️ Join the NM Sunflower Run

Register now for the must-attend event of your summer racing season! You won't want to miss this adult-only (21 and older) 10K and 5K Walk or Run! Set in the Village of Los Ranchos at the beautiful Casa Rondena Winery, this flat and fast point-to-point loop course is one you'll want to tell your friends and family about.

Sorry, this event is for adults only—they deserve a break from the daily summer chores! Whether you're a weekend warrior, a seasoned runner, or simply looking to have a good time, join us for an unforgettable experience!

Race participants will receive a souvenir wine glass, a custom finisher medal as a memento of their experience, and post-race refreshments at the finish line.

• Start Times: 10K - 8:00 a.m., 5K - 8:15 a.m.
• Packet Pickup: August 23, 2025 from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m.
• Location: Heart and Sole Sports, 2817 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110
• Late Registration: Available on race day from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. at Taft Middle School

🚗 Parking Information

• Parking Location: Taft Middle School, 620 Schulte Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107
• No Parking: At Casa de Rondena Winery or nearby streets
• Plan Ahead: Use designated parking areas only
• Restroom Facilities: Available near start and finish

🎽 Race Requirements

• Race Bib: Must be worn visibly on the front
• Timing Chip: Required to be eligible for results and awards
• Medical Support: Available throughout the race
• ID Requirement: Required to pick up race materials and for entry into finish area

🏅 Awards and Results

• Overall Awards: Given to the top three finishers
• Age Group Awards: Categories include 21-24, 25-29, etc.
• Results Posting: Available by 2:00 p.m. at www.irunfit.org
• Prizes: One award per participant

🥘 Post-Event Barbecue

Remember to purchase your ticket for the Post-Event Barbecue at Casa Rondena Winery immediately upon completion of your Event. Tickets will be available at Packet Pickup and the Event. You may register for the Barbecue during registration and Packet Pickup or Race Day.

🌦️ Inclement Weather Policy

The Sunflower Run will be happening rain or shine. The event officials reserve the right to cancel or modify the race in case of severe weather with no refunds issued.
