EVENT INFORMATION

The 7th Annual RunFit Lavender Run will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Participants can choose from a variety of events, including:

• 10K: Fast and flat loop course in the heart of the North Valley.
• 5K: Suitable for runners of all levels.
• Walk: A great option for those who prefer a less intense activity.
• Kids K: Fun for younger participants!

Participants will be able to win age-group and overall awards, receive participant medals, and receive a stylish Lavender Run T-shirt. Summer favorites will also be waiting for you at the finish line.

ADDITIONAL PERKS

As an added bonus, all Lavender Run participants (13 and older) will receive free entry to:

• Lavender Festival: 19th Annual Lavender Festival on July 25, 2026.
• Activities: Live music, free yoga classes, wellness seminars, and cooking demonstrations.
• Marketplace: Over 70 artisans selling a variety of lavender-related products.
• Fun for All: Perfect outing for lavender enthusiasts of all ages.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

A portion of the event's proceeds will support local agricultural and educational programs, RunFit's nonprofit afterschool youth running programs, and the "Fifteen and Fit" school-based running and fitness programs, all of which aim to promote long-term health and build community.

• Note: Please arrive early for all races to start promptly.

PARKING INFORMATION

IMPORTANT: There is NO PARKING at Alvarado Elementary School. Please use the following designated parking areas:

• Los Poblanos Open Space: 5601 Tierra Viva Pl. NW
• Hartnett Park: 6718 Rio Grande Blvd. NW
• Do Not Park: At Alvarado Elementary School, on Solar Road, on Nabor Road, or anywhere along the racecourse.
• Safety: Please help keep the course safe by using designated parking areas only.

RESTROOMS

Portable restrooms will be available near the Start/Finish area. Please allow extra time before your race begins.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

Medical personnel and radio communications staff will be stationed throughout the course and at the Finish Line. If you experience a medical problem or cannot finish the race, please notify a race official immediately.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

May I wear headphones?
Yes, recreational participants may wear headphones. Those competing for prize money may not use electronic listening devices.

• GPS Watches: Allowed but official results are based on RunFit timing equipment.
• Not Allowed: Cell phones, cameras, skateboards, and any unauthorized wheeled devices.
• Strollers: Permitted, must start behind runners.
• Dogs: Welcome but must be on a short leash.

RESULTS & POST-RACE

Official race results will be posted at: www.irunfit.org right after the event.

Stay after your race to enjoy refreshments and the awards ceremony.
