🌸 LAVENDER RUN

The 6th Annual RunFit Lavender Run will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Participants can choose from various events, including a 10K, a 5K run, a walk, and a Kids K, ensuring there's something for everyone! The race features a fast and flat loop course in the heart of the North Valley.

🎉 EVENT INFORMATION

As an added bonus, all Lavender Run participants will receive free entry to the 31st Annual Lavender Festival, which will take place on July 26, 2025. The Lavender Festival offers a variety of activities, including live music, free yoga classes, wellness seminars, cooking demonstrations, and a marketplace with 70 artisans selling everything from lavender bouquets to paintings, pies, spices, lotions, beer, and wine. It’s a perfect outing for lavender enthusiasts of all ages.

• Events: 10K at 8:00 a.m., 5K at 8:15 a.m., Kids K at 9:00 a.m.
• Packet Pickup: July 12, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Fleet Feet Sports
• Race Day: Registration available, packet pickup required

🏆 RESULTS AND AWARDS

The Lavender Run will start in front of the Alvarado Elementary School. All participants who would like to be entered in the results and be eligible for awards must wear a timing chip/bib. The 10K and 5K Run or Walk use a Gun Start with a Timing Chip finish. The "official time" will start when the gun/horn goes off.

• Awards: Top three finishers in each category for men and women
• Timing: Determined by gun time
• Kids K: Special recognition awards for all participants
• Post-Race: Refreshments and awards available

🅿️ PARKING INFORMATION

No parking is available at Alvarado Elementary School. Please refer to the designated parking areas listed below:

• Los Poblanos Open Space: 5601 Tierra Viva Pl. NW
• Hartnett Park: 6718 Rio Grande Blvd. NW
• Note: Use designated parking areas only
• Restroom Facilities: Port-a-potties located near start/finish

📋 RACE REGULATIONS

Each participant will receive a race (bib) number that must be worn on race day. Do not alter your race number. Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be visible throughout the race.

• Headphones: Allowed for general participants, but not for those competing for prizes
• GPS Devices: Allowed, but do not count as official timing
• Strollers: Allowed but must be seeded at the back
• Lost & Found: Available for personal items on race day

🌧️ INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Weather forecasts will be monitored prior to the event. If necessary, updates will be provided through the RunFit website and email to participants. Possible modifications may include alterations to the start time or event cancellation due to severe weather conditions.

• Lightning: Race postponed for at least 15 minutes if visible
• Heat: Additional water provided for athletes
• Medical Support: Available throughout the race
• Emergency: Notify event officials if assistance is needed
