Event Schedule:
Sunday: July 12, 2026
10K: 8:00 a.m.
5K: 8:15 a.m.
Kids K: 9:00 a.m.

Participants can choose from a variety of events, including:

• 10K: Fast and flat loop course
• 5K: Enjoyable for runners and walkers
• Walk: Perfect for those who prefer a leisurely stroll
• Kids K: Fun run for children

🏆 Awards & Prizes

Participants will be eligible for:

• Age-group Awards: For top finishers in various age categories
• Overall Awards: For the best overall male & female runners
• Medals: Participants will receive medals
• T-Shirts: Stylish Lavender Run T-shirt for all

🎉 ADDITIONAL EVENTS

All Lavender Run participants (13 and older) will receive:

• Free Entry: To the 19th Annual Lavender Festival on July 26, 2026
• Activities: Live music, free yoga classes, wellness seminars
• Marketplace: Featuring 70 artisans
• Culinary Demonstrations: Cooking showcases and more

🚗 PARKING

Please use designated parking areas only:

• Los Poblanos Open Space: 5601 Tierra Viva Pl. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107
• Hartnett Park: 6718 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107
• No Parking: At Alvarado Elementary School or on the surrounding roads.
• Allowed: Designated parking locations only, please.

🛑 RACE DAY POLICIES

Important rules for race day:

• Registration: Race-day registration available
• Timing Chip: Required for results and awards
• Headphones: Allowed but not for prize competitors
• Medical Support: Available throughout the course

🌦️ WEATHER POLICY

Weather conditions will be closely monitored:

• Severe Weather: Possible course alterations or race cancellations
• Notifications: Updates shared on the RunFit website
• Safety Measures: Additional water provided in extreme heat
• Lightning Policy: Delays will be implemented if necessary
