Kick off the new year with the Bosque Burque Run, hosted at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute. This exciting event features an out-and-back loop course winding through the scenic Albuquerque Open Space Bosque—perfect for runners and walkers of all levels.

Please note: There is race-day registration: however, all pre-registered participants must pick up their event packets at “Packet Pick-Up.” If you cannot pick up your packet in person, you must plan for a representative to pick it up. Out-of-town participants may pick up their packet on race day at the registration area between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. at SIPI.

The start locations for the 15K, 10K, and 5K are near the finish. All races will start promptly at their designated times. Allow plenty of time to arrive and park. This race uses a Gun Start with a clock finish. Overall awards will be presented to the top 3 Male and Female Participants.
Please use designated parking areas/spaces only. Do not block handicapped or other restricted parking areas—no parking on dirt fields or the side of roads.
Bathrooms (port-a-potties) are located just east of the finish and next to the start in the east parking lot.
Each participant will receive a Race (Bib) number that must be worn on race day. DO NOT alter your race number in any way. Your bib number must be visible and worn on the front of all clothing for the entire race. Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be worn by the runner to whom they are assigned.
All entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be deferred toward a future event. Sale and/or transfer of race entry/bib are strictly prohibited.
Weather forecasts will be monitored, and necessary notifications will be made. The Race Director has the authority to modify the event based on weather conditions. Please listen for announcements at the starting line.
Overall and division award winners will be announced immediately after each event. Awards will be issued to the top three finishers in each division:
