Event Overview

The 6th Annual Fidelis Militus Obstacle 5K is dedicated to honoring Caleb Griffis, a remarkable individual and athlete whose legacy continues to inspire. Caleb was a dedicated student and athlete at Tallulah Falls School and later excelled in Army ROTC at Clemson University.

• Check-in: 1:00 - 2:15 PM at the course

Legacy of Caleb Griffis

Caleb was known for his discipline, grit, and dedication to his teammates. Though he faced challenges, he encouraged those around him to excel and overcome obstacles together.

Fundraising and Purpose

• Proceeds: All proceeds from the event will go to the Caleb Griffis Memorial Foundation.
• Scholarships: The foundation offers scholarships for graduating seniors at TFS and surrounding counties.
• Support for ROTC: The foundation also supports ROTC cadets at Clemson and other colleges.
• 501c3 Status: The Caleb Griffis Memorial Foundation is an official 501c3.

Course Information

This scenic but challenging course is located at Tallulah Falls Middle School, with parking available next to the race site. Participants are encouraged to:

• Bring Water: Water will be provided, but personal water bottles are encouraged.
• Footwear: Close-toed shoes are required.
• Obstacles: Obstacles will be present, and participants can choose to bypass them as they see fit.
• Food Trucks: We aim to have food trucks on-site: cash payments are encouraged.
