Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run

Event Overview

The 48th Annual Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and is a USATF-sanctioned and certified road race. We draw close runners from all over Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and beyond.

Starting gun goes off at 8:30am sharp!

This race is held during Sycamore Illinois' famous Pumpkin Festival and has become a staple in the Northern Illinois race circuit. The Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run has been named a Best of Chicagoland Race by Chicago Area Runners Association. Proceeds from the Sycamore Pumpkin Run assist in maintaining our historic downtown shopping district, creating opportunities to help small businesses succeed, and improving our local economy through community development.

Race Includes

• Commemorative Shirt: America 250 Commemorative Long-sleeve dri-release race 10K shirt (Size guaranteed, if registered by October 1)
• Finisher Medals: 10K Finisher Medals to the first 1,000 to cross the finish line!
• Technology: Dynamic Bib Assignment and RFID Tag Technology
• Refreshments: Refreshments after the race, including ice-cold beer for 21 & over (bib must be visible)

We have 1000 Sycamore Pumpkin 10K finisher medals for this year’s race. Medals will be handed out at the finish line while supplies last. While we will do our best to ensure everyone receives a medal, we cannot guarantee availability for all finishers.
